IUS and University of Zielona Góra Strengthen Erasmus+ Cooperation

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS), through its English Language and Literature (ELIT) and English Language and Literature, Teaching (ELT) study programs, welcomed representatives from the University of Zielona Góra, Poland, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and explore further opportunities within the Erasmus+ program.

The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange ideas, discuss areas of mutual interest, and explore possibilities for expanding their existing cooperation. Particular attention was given to future Erasmus+ opportunities that could further support academic mobility, staff and student exchange, and the sharing of knowledge and experience between the two universities.

The visitors were warmly hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ervin Kovačević, Dean of the IUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and Prof. Dr. Almasa Mulalić, Dean of the Faculty of Education (FEDU), who welcomed the representatives on behalf of IUS and the ELIT and ELT study programs. During the visit, the guests also had the opportunity to take a tour of the IUS campus and become more familiar with the university's facilities, academic environment, and student-centered approach to higher education.

The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and to identify potential avenues for future collaboration. International partnerships such as this play an important role in creating opportunities for students and academic staff to gain international experience, engage in intercultural exchange, and develop professional and academic networks beyond their home institutions.

The International University of Sarajevo is pleased to continue building its relationship with the University of Zielona Góra and looks forward to further cooperation and the development of new Erasmus+ opportunities in the future.
